Today was our Christmas program... and as always, there were some things that cracked me up... like the wise man (above) who carried
crayons to baby Jesus.
Mary was also non-traditional. Instead of smiling sweetly, she glared at the crowd. Below was the most I got out of her in the way of a smile.

And... oh, yes... baby Jesus. Bekah (unbeknown to me) volunteered to bring her doll to portray baby Jesus. She didn't bring it... and no substitute doll was available. So, baby Jesus was a stuffed monkey. Don't tell anyone! :)

And then there was a little sheep who thought she needed to talk to her mommy who was in the front row... "Mommy, where's daddy"... "Mommy, sit your lap"... little whispered sentences came from the little sheep who had lost her ears in the below picture.

At the end of the program, the littlest wise man said, "Hey! I never gave my gift to baby Jesus!"
And they came bearing gifts... a tin, and multicolored crayolas!! :)
