Weekend Update

Hello, all! I thought I would post some stuff from this past weekend...
We went to our pastor's house and cut wood, which ended up having lasting effects (as you will see in below pics). The kids had fun playing outside, going down the hill in some little carts that Cooley's have. They did it last time we went over to their house, and they LOVE it! Also, we all helped Andrew a little with his wood cutting efforts. The kids enjoy spending time at their house, then we went to Hoss' so mommy didn't have to cook. :) Mommy especially liked that! We almost feel like we are stealing our food when we go there, the kids are free so it was only $22. That was for Andrew and I to both get a burger and fries, PLUS the salad bar, and of course for the kids to get the salad bar! We pay $20+ for all of us to go to Burger King!
Anyways, I digress... here are some pics.

Mom, remember Shar's little red hat???
This is... Philip's little red coat. :)
I have SOO many pictures of him in it!

A couple of things you might notice... Abby was chewing on something, after I recorded the video I realized it was grass. :) Also, pay attention and you might see when Philip noticed that I was taping... he went into "show-off mode". :)

Plotting and planning the next big adventure...

Not the easiest way to do things...

Abby would go down the hill, laughing, and then turn around and smile great big!
Not sure what Bekah is doing here, but it was the only picture I took of her for some reason!

My handsome hubby goes out into the woods, not knowing what awaits him...

Hanging out, eatin' lunch

Watching the world go by...

Below you will see what I was talking about... yes, Andrew had another run in with some sort of plant that his body doesn't like. Evidently, the Cooley's woods and our hill have something in common... we think it's poison oak. Andrew has been miserable since Saturday night! His face swelled up very large and has been seeping, his arms have rashes, he is a mess! He went to the doctor today, hopefully he'll be back in shape soon! I have been feeling sorry for the poor man! :)

Sunday morning at church... I found my camera in the van and took some pics. Below Bekah is trying to pose with Philip, but I kind of cut her off! :)

Here she is! Getting big, although the guy that came to look at the chimney today said she was kind of short for five... he asked if she was shorter than the other kids in her class. I told him she was the tallest kid in her class! :)

Have a good night!

We have poison sumac around our house. It's terrible! And two of my three girls are allergic. For the longest time we didn't know what was causing the rash. But then we finally discovered what it was and to make matters worse, it would grow in and around their bike spokes. So you can only imagine with them riding their bikes down the road, how anything left on those spokes would be spraying right back at their little legs. Interestingly enough, we got a shed last fall and since their bikes are stored in there now, they've have few issues with it this year. Tony, on the other hand, decided to pull it out of the bushes around the porch and had a nice time getting rid of it early this summer! He's never had problems before.

The worst part...the product that we used to get that actually WORKED is not no longer available. ARGH! Band-aid spray gel.

As for the tallest girl in her class...reminds me of Martha Kindy Forsee. She told her dentist or doctor that she was in the top five of her graduating class. There were ONLY five :)
