The birthday celebration drew to a close today with the package Philip received from Aunt Shar and Aunt Trish... he was excited to open everything up, and loved the card from Aunt Shar... as you will see in the following pics!
They got to work tearing into things right away! :)
New people to play with - and play with them they did! All evening I kept hearing bits and pieces of stories... the mom was drowning, the boy fell off of something, etc. They LOVE to pretend!
Someone answer a question for me... WHO designed the packaging for children's toys??? I decided today that it was someone who doesn't have children, and alsosomeone who feels that plastic figures are somehow evil and therefore EACH of their limbs must be tied up! I mean, seriously, WHAT is the reasoning for having one of those twistie ties on each of their limbs?

"Daddy... fall." In Abby language, this means "Daddy, I need you to rescue me because I am afraid! I am not as sure of going down as I was of going up!"
