Warmin' up in this winter wonderland...

Andrew turned 29 on Friday! We celebrated on Saturday with oreo surprise...

Bekah had been planning his birthday present for months... she said, "I know you don't like junk, Dad, so I am going to wrap up Philip, me, and Abby in a big box, and we are going to be your present!" :) Here they are!

Their big box was converted into a single family dwelling... :)

Andrew thought he'd take some years off his wife's life by doing a crazy stunt. Evidently, 29 is not too old to think that you are invincible. :) He told me that the wood stove would be in by the end of the day,
and a little ice on the roof was not about to deter him!

On the plus side, it made me pray! All day! :)

The first fire in our wood stove... Andrew had
his "cheshire cat grin" on!

As you can see, the wood stove is much needed! It snowed this week... it was beautiful, and the kids enjoyed it... even if mommy didn't. The older I get, the less I like being out in it!

The kids were hilarious trying to get down the hill. They had quite a few "technical difficulties" that kept mommy laughing!

Philip would walk up the hill SO S-L-O-W-L-Y... and then he wouldn't be able to get on the sled. He would end up rolling down the hill with the sled coming after him... crazy kiddo!

Bekah at the top of the hill, waiting for Philip... and waiting... and waiting.

Abby thinks the snow is good for eating! She didn't like getting cold.

Eatin' more snow...

Bekah was being helpful... shoveling the grass.

Sorry this is sideways... thought you might like to see one of the times that they actually stayed on the sled and made it down the hill! Stay warm, and we will see you later! :)

We have only seen flurries. Not that I care these days. I sit on the couch with the curtains pulled :) But my kids can't wait. Your fire looked so nice and warm! And happy birthday to your hubby. I loved Bekah's bday gift.
