A theology degree would be helpful...

The longer that I am a parent, the more I am convinced that I am ill-equipped to be a parent. Case in point... Rebekah prays every single night for God to forgive her sins and come into her heart. Tonight after prayer she said, "Mom, I have a problem. I sinned after I asked God to forgive my sins. It's hard not to sin." I said, "What did you do to sin?" She said, "I chewed my fingernails a little bit". I told her chewing her fingernails was not a sin. She said, "Is picking your nose a sin?" I told her no, laughing. Case closed, right? Oh, no. A couple minutes passed. "Mom, it's a sin if you do something that you know is wrong, right?" I told her yes, not liking where I knew we were headed. "Well, I know I'm not supposed to chew my fingernails, and I did. So I sinned, right? And I don't know if picking your nose is a sin, but it is wrong so I shouldn't do that either." What am I supposed to say to that???

Okay, I have so much to say (after reading every single post from the beginning to today, as well as ALL the comments) that I don't know where to begin. Maybe I should condense since this post could get quite lengthy...
#1 I have enjoyed "getting to know" your little ones - they are absolutely ADORABLE!
#2 Isn't it weird that I was so much older than you and now we are both raising kiddos and blogging? I love being able to connect with people from the past (and the sad thing is most of the friend's I had growing up that were my age still haven't figured out this technical world we live in :(
So, thanks LOADS for the invite into your little world here. I'm gonna enjoy reading future posts.

P.S. the comment here by grammarobyn (something about that phrase is just WRONG - she's not old enough to be a gramma!) sounds so very normal for her! lol!
