For Brad and Trish...

My dear sister and her dear boyfriend are complaining about the lack of updates on my blog (nothing like the pot calling the kettle black! :)) Anyways, this is for them...

A day in the life of the Brewster's:

We woke up this morning to a cold house... cold, as in "we ran out of oil!" So, I got my husband's clothes around and went back to bed, turned on the bed warmer, and snuggled up to Luke. Meanwhile, my husband went out into the real world without a lunch, coffee, or even a water jug. That's just the kind of wife I am.

My kids, trying to stay somewhat warm at breakfast time... Philip had his arms tucked into his shirt in this one.

"Mom, why are you taking my picture???"

Breakfast... home made banana bread.
We've started buying things in bulk... flour, sugar, veggie oil, peanut butter, pancake syrup, and hot cocoa mix... all bought in bulk. It cracks me up that the side of the peanut butter and hot cocoa containers say that the large size is perfect for "office, schools, day care centers"... home?

Tis the season... for runny noses. Mommy and Luke are both suffering this morning...

Looking outside for signs of snow... Pam said it was snowing at her house. I am hoping we don't get any for a while... I am not ready for snow yet!

The story of my life... constant clutter, constant need to pick up!

"Mom, can I look at my pretend blog?"
"No, it's time for school."

School starts for another day!

Bekah telling Philip... something. It seems like they are always arguing about
something the last few days. :(

Proof that Abby was here... she got into the crackers
when mommy was on the phone.

Mommy works on laundry and organizing clothes while Bekah does school.

Abby stays busy playing with the plastic dishes and "her" baby... it's not actually hers, but she claims it for her own (much to Bekah's chagrin!)
Listening carefully to Mrs. Bere

Abby was actually pretty good today... sometimes she does things like this...
This was done a few weeks ago... mommy
needs to get it washed off! :(

She got tired of me taking her picture.
She said, "Mommy, no picture me."

"Grouchy Gus"

Listening as school goes on...

Meanwhile, Mr. Luke wakes up... a happy little guy this morning! :)

Mommy feeds him and gets him dressed, then works on organizing clothes some more and takes pics to post items on e-bay...
Lunch time... american cheese, chips and salsa, apple slices, and more banana bread. Yes, I know, strange but true. :) That's just the kind of mom I am! :)

Supper into the oven... roasted chicken. I normally make chicken in the crockpot, but I wanted to turn the oven on to add some heat to our environment. :)

Nap time!

Argh! Do you see that? Snow! Uck!

Some funny things I heard today:
Bekah said she wants Aunt Shar Shar and Aunt Trish to get married so she (Bekah) will have more uncles.
Philip looked at my shoes and told me that "those shoes make you look guilty"... I think he meant goofy. :)
I was changing Abby's diaper and told her she was stinky... she said, "Mom, garbage truck". I asked her, "You think you smell like a garbage truck?" She nodded her head "yes"... :)

There... are you happy, you two? I am not posting again until Trish posts! :)

Wow, you worked really hard on that post! What a neat glimpse into your day. Do you scrap things like that? I mean, some people do only holidays and occasions not every day life. That would be neat to do. I take stuff off my blog for journaling when I do my layouts.
