A Garden Party! (part two)

I mentioned in the last post that Andrew got compliments on his top hat... I rented it from a costume place, he was less than impressed with having to wear it. :) He said, "Why do we do these things?" (meaning the party...) I said, "Because it's fun! We are making memories!" He said, "They are supposed to be HAPPY memories!" :) I know he enjoyed dressing up, even though he pretended not to. :)

The "gentlemen" chatting before the party

This game was a little "un-victorian"... :) The women blindfolded their (very unwilling) hubbies, who then had to walk to the clothesline and hang an article of clothing. The men were not impressed, and one suggested after we were done that the women don the blindfolds to fix the roof. ;)

Andrew was actually a quiet, submissive husband who didn't protest too much... I trained him well. ;)

THIS guy, on the other hand, was a different matter entirely. Elisa had her hands full getting him to cooperate. ;)

My handsome Victorian guy...

Our lovely hostess... can you tell she didn't
want her picture taken? :)

Candle holders hanging from the tree... very pretty after dark!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Blessings on your monday!

I really like the vases of flowers, the lanterns hanging and YOUR HAT!! Oh, and also, Andrew's blindfold, were you trying to smother him? I love you, Raylin! You are a neat daughter! Thank you for being you!!

:) Would I do that??? :) Actually, Andrew put his own blindfold on... so maybe he was trying to smother himself. :)
