It's hard to believe it, but it's that time of year again... the time of year for strollers and grouchy boys who want to get out of them...
Time for Andrew to mow the lawn (and for me to watch him, worrying, while he careens too quickly around trees and bushes with the lawn tractor at a 30 degree angle on our lovely hills...)
Time to plant a garden... which, for Andrew, involves lots and lots of prep... especially since our garden is going to be twice as big this year.
Time for our house and yard to become a lot louder (especially on the weekends) as hordes of leather clad persons invade the bar across the street... And when I say "hordes", I mean it. Below are just two of the fifty-plus bikes that were parked (at one time) at the bar on Saturday!
Did I mention garden prep work? :) Andrew spent hours and hours getting things ready to be planted... and now he is spending LOTS of time mentioning how glad he is that he's done digging! :)
This is one thing that I have a love-hate relationship with... hanging clothes on the line to dry. I LOVE the way they smell after taking them off the line. I do NOT love finding dried bugs in my clothes (which we seem to have more of a problem with here than I have ever had before!), and I really don't enjoy lugging them out of the dungeon (otherwise known as the basement) and hanging them on the line... But, as my husband always says,
"We are saving money!". :)
