My kids absolutely crack me up sometimes, like yesterday when we were playing school... Rebekah was the teacher, and we were playing a game. Bekah was asking the questions about the story she had just told (which was about snakes and heaven:) and she said it was Abby's turn to answer a question. Bekah said, "I'm just going to ask her an easy one, cause she's just little. Abby, do you like cheese?" And upon Abby solemnly shaking her head "yes", Rebekah was like "good job, Abby!". Today, when I was laying them down for naps, Abby kept trying to tell me something. I finally realized she was saying "feed baby"... which would explain why she had her shirt up and her babydoll laying on her belly. :) She is finally talking more, and is able to get her point across most of the time. She says things like: "Pop (philip) hur (hurt) foo (foot)" or "Daddy cu (cut) tee (tree)". Awhile ago, when we were finishing lunch, I asked her if she was ready to get out of her chair. She said "Pop?" I told her we didn't have any. "Canny?" (candy) I told her we didn't have any. "Fries?" (that's one word she says quite well :) When I told her we didn't have any of those, either, she was finally ready to get down. :) She likes junk food too much, which might explain why she is now in the 85% for her weight and the 29% for her height. :) Philip says funny things too, but he more often does things to make me laugh. Like the picture below of him with his green "headdress" :) ... this is quite common, as is the string tied around his waist holding up his vacuum cleaner nozzle "sword".
One more thought... this morning, I was holding Bekah on my lap and she said, "Did somebody fart or is that your breath?" Ah, the joys of being a mommy! Have a good weekend, everyone!
